Last night I made Declan his favorite snack of crackers-cheese (Saltines with cream cheese) and he said, "Thank you, Mommy!" when I handed it to him. I didn't have to prompt him to say that. I almost cried. Talking voluntarily is such a challenge and he is slowly making progress. Yahoo!
